The Church has truly suffered for decades, 'the smoke of Satan has entered in', and we pray and hope that the wounds will heal, sooner rather than later.umblepiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13455889107917179909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7248472732503456792.post-90500146680052475192016-06-30T17:57:04.967-07:002016-06-30T17:57:04.967-07:00You say in your article "today there are no p...You say in your article "today there are no problems in the Carmelite Order". Well, I would like to correct you on that. I was confirmed in a Carmelite parish in California where the order serves the parish - supposedly. In actuality, the Order, does not serve the people of the parish, the order does not even keep the priests who are installed as pastors accountable. One friar admitted to me after many people in the parish had been abused by the current pastor, they do not follow their own rule, which requires a day for weekly conversations among them about accountability to Christian precepts and values. This parish has become so unwelcoming and "ruled" tyrannically by the "order" that I have been severely scandalized and wanted to leave Catholicism entirely due to the repeated hypocrisy. There is no accountability and I assure you today there very much are problems in the Carmelite Order. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
